It is with deep sadness that we share the news of Kelly’s passing on October 20, 2026, at home surrounded by his family and loved ones. For a year, Kelly fought bravely against pancreatic cancer, facing his journey with strength and courage.
Born in Ohio and raised in NJ, Kelly loved sports. He watched and cheered on the Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers each season, and was an Ohio State Buckeye fan. He loved playing ice hockey, enjoying many years on the ice in men’s leagues and with his son, CJ. As a merchant marine, Kelly was blessed to have traveled the world. He retired at fifty in Southwest Florida and enjoyed traveling and cruising with his wife and family.

Kelly’s passion grew into a crypto start-up, Peoples Reserve, which he launched alongside his son CJ. For five years, they worked together for We the People. He enjoyed watching his son speak at many conferences and was ecstatic at the grand opening of their company this past year. He had never been prouder of his son than in those precious moments they had shared together. His life was based on the foundation of Jesus Christ, and he loved the Lord with all his heart, soul, and mind. He brought warmth and so much laughter to those around him and he will be remembered for being the life of the party.

A celebration of life will be held in January 2027 at Christ Community Church in Punta Gorda.
Our family is grateful for all the love and support we’ve received, especially from John McDaniel and Ronda & Steve Tobin. Kelly will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Romans 8:28
“Without a doubt, Kelly was one of those rare ones that always brought a smile and a kind word or funny story to any conversation.”

“I bet we all remember Kelly’s joie de vivre that allowed him to see the lighter side of about anything. That’s a great pic of Kelly, his wife and son. Kelly had that great, endearing smile that curled up on the ends. He obviously ended up passing it to his son! He’s in a good place and sincere condolences to his family and those close to him. God bless.”
